Are the cottages self-catering?
Yes. Each cottage is fully fitted with a kitchen, enabling guests to cook and store food throughout their stay.
Is Breakfast Included?
Breakfast is not served in the main hotel when booking a self-catering cottage. Instead, guests receive a daily £25 breakfast credit per cottage, redeemable against a 'breakfast shop' at the Estate Market. This credit cannot be used against non-food items or alcohol.
How many people can the cottages accommodate?
Our one-bedroom cottages can accommodate two adults sharing, while our two-bedroom cottages can sleep up to four adults, with one of the rooms being used as a twin bed if required. Our Chef's and Gardener's cottages can accommodate four adults, however we are unable to twin any of the rooms.
Do I have access to the spa when staying in the cottages?
Guests do not have spa access included during their stay. Discounted spa passes are available to purchase from spa reception on the day of access and are subject to availability (spa passes are limited to 4 hours of access). Children have access to the spa free of charge during children's pool hours.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available for the cottages, with the majority of spaces directly outside each cottage. Cottages in our walled garden offer a shared parking space, with a short walk to each cottage.
How far away are the cottages from main hotel?
Our cottages are a short walk from the main hotel, with distances averaging a 3-to-5 minute walk. Please consult our Estate Map for further information.
What equipment is included in the cottages?
Each cottage is equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave, alongside a fully stocked inventory of kitchen equipment and utensils. Please consults our

What Essentials are included in the cottages?
Cottages are stocked with the essentials required during your stay, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and toiletries. Please consult our

Is there a minimum length of stay?
Cottages are not subject to a minimum length of stay. This is subject to change so please consult our team when making your reservation.
Can Rooms in the cottages accomodate twin beds?
Our two-bedroom cottages, including the Sauna and Golf View cottages, can accommodate twin beds in the main bedroom, allowing for two adults sharing and two adults in separate beds. Our one-bedroom, Chef's, and Gardener's cottages cannot accommodate twin beds in any of the rooms.
Can I book meals at the outlets in the main hotel?
Yes, though the cottages are self-catering, guests are able to book meals in our restaurants subject to availability. We encourage guests to book meals prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange dining options.
Do the cottages have a private garden?
All our cottages share ample outdoor space, with the many woodland walks and activities available throughout the estate. For those looking for increased privacy, our Gardener’s Cottage offer's a private garden surrounded by greenery. Please note, none of our cottages offer enclosed gardens that limit access for children or dogs.
Are the cottages child friendly?
Yes, each of our cottages can accommodate children and we are able to supply a cot for younger children. If your child requires a cot and is above the age of 2, an additional fee may be charged.
Are the cottages pet friendly?
Yes, we welcome pets into our cottages the same way we do in the main hotel. Pets are subject to our additional pet fee.
Are barbeque facilities available?
No, the cottages are not fitted with barbecue facilities. Please enquire directly for specific requests.
Is there Wi-Fi in the cottages?
Yes, each of the cottages has access to free Wi-Fi.
Is there an option for room service?
As our cottages are self-catering, we do not offer a room service option.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00, while check-out is at 11:00.
Is smoking Permitted in the cottages?
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages and each cottage is fitted with a smoke detector.
